Building Sports Marketing Website and Branding
Building Momentum: The Physics of Design in Sports Consulting
This project started with a blank slate. No set guidelines, just an opportunity to build something from the ground up. The goal was to create a site that blends branding, physics, and interactivity in a seamless digital experience.
From Concept to Reality
I always begin by organizing ideas. Folders, Google Slides, and Pinterest boards help structure the vision before diving into design. For this project, I compiled a moodboard to establish the creative direction.
Without an existing brand identity, I searched for the right logo. After reviewing many AJ logos, nothing stood out. I found an ‘A’ on Pinterest that had potential and experimented with merging it into a ‘J.’ I collaborated with a designer to refine the concept. But branding alone wasn’t enough. I wanted movement. I had seen falling ball animations before and thought about making them interact differently. Instead of simply dropping, the balls dodge the AJ logo, adding a layer of physics-driven engagement.
Layering Motion & Meaning
The split text in the hero section creates a sharp, dynamic feel. The background animation adds depth. Every ball was carefully selected, and the callouts were positioned strategically. Every detail contributes to the flow, making the design feel intentional and connected.
A Site That Moves
This project was about more than building a website. It was about crafting an experience. The physics-based animations and bold branding reinforce the idea of momentum. This sports consulting platform doesn’t just tell its story; it moves with it. See it in action: studiogo.tech/aj3.
